  • Macrotron, the forerunner company of MacroScience, was founded in 1972 and did sales and marketing of test systems in the semiconductor and electronics market in Europe
  • Macrotron was the European representative for Nicolet Imaging Systems (NIS) and sold, installed and serviced NIS Offline and Inline X-ray systems. Since 1989 Macrotron developed an own Software version for NIS X-ray machines, leading to a Joint Venture with NIS
  • In 1993 Macrotron installed the first Inline 2D X-Ray system in the market

  • In 2001 Macrotron launched its own family of manual, automatic, offline and inline X-ray Systems (MXR)
  • In May 2004 MaroScience got the ISO 9001:2000 Certification
  • In 2006, MacroScience Technology (MST) was founded as a spin-off and took over all X-ray related activities
  • 2007 an own 3D CT series was launched
  • End of 2008 SAKI acquired a first bundle of shares of MST. In 2009 SAKI took over the management of MST and became the major shareholder
  • Out of this history MST has a base of over 600 installed systems, of which over 100 systems are own MXR/MSX systems (Europe, US, Asia)
  • In July 2009 MacroScience got the ISO 9001:2008 Certification
